As a member of the original 2008 planning team and current Board member of The WAVE Foundation, I am excited to continue my involvement with Cycle the WAVE (Women Against Violence Everywhere) with a goal to increase awareness and raise critical funds for programs providing life-changing services for all those experiencing abuse. Our efforts to "brake the cycle" has expanded for me into my professional life as faculty at Seattle Pacific University in the nursing program.
