Route Support

Walk the WAVE prides itself for offering the highest level of support for our amazing walkers. We hope you'll agree it’s one of the best supported events you have ever done. WAVE Walkers receive all the same great perks as our riders enjoy, with a custom rest stop and a stupendous Finish Line Festival.

Start Line
All walkers should be dressed for our unpredictable northwest weather patterns. Check the weather forecast the morning of the event and dress accordingly. You may enjoy breakfast goodies and Starbucks coffee at the start line before departing.

Route
We do not expect many changes from the 2016 route. The route is approximately 6km (3.75 miles) with 300-400 feet of total elevation. Please check back for the final version closer to the event.

Support Services
SAG cars support all routes and are volunteer coordinated and staffed by our "Command Central" located the Start/Finish line. They are also available to get you to the finish line if you are unable to continue due to a non-serious injury or other issue. We will have a day-of-event EVENT HOTLINE number that you may call if assistance is needed. Additionally we will have WAVE Walk monitors on the course to assist participants if needed.
